Tomorrow I've got my first photography gig since about 3 or 4 months ago.
I took some time away from my camera since we were pretty busy over the summer with the kids being out of school and the move across the city to our new house.
A friend of mine had a baby about a week ago and I promised her & her husband I would come and take some pictures of them all.
I feel kinda rusty and akward with my camera now and I have no computer to proccess the photos with!
I'm sure all will go well, but wish me luck anyways ;).
Do you like surprises?
Yes! And speaking of surprises.............
# this is where I start getting evil
# mwuhahaha <- evil laugh
# end shameless self plug

How many pets have you owned in your lifetime? Tell us about them.
Submitted by jennajellopy.vox.com.
I've had too many to count on one hand so I'll tell you about the ones that I can remember right now.
I had a goat named Fred, and a dog named Goliath. They were the best of friends. Fred really thought he was a dog. He used to trick us into letting him into the house by standing up on the door and knocking with his hoof. When we opened the door he would come charging into the house. Poor guy... he didn't understand why we let Goliath in the house and not him!
We had a pony named Red. He was a miniature pony so we couldn't ride him. He was the size of a large dog... very cute tho!
One year for easter we were out hunting for eggs in the back yard and came across a hutch full of bunnies! My dad was always doing silly things like that for us. My bunny was named Grey. He was eventually eaten by our Basset Hound named Chloe.
We had a few cats also. My sisters cat was named Shadow. She loved her to death. We also had another cat named Scruffy. He was a big, lazy, fat cat with quite a personality. Once we found a mouse under the kitchen sink and threw him under there to get it... he turned around and looked at us like "what am I supposed to do about this?" LOL... he was SO LAZY he wouldnt even catch a mouse that we practically cornered for him.
I had a iguana for a while... I rescued him from a boy that couldn't take care of him anymore. He turned out to be more work than I thought he would so I gave him to a family that had a few iguanas.
Hrmmm... we've had various fish over the years. I guess those count as pets too.
Oh yeah... and last but not least. My beloved Turbo...
He causes me more stress than I can handle but still..... He is part of the family and I don't know what we would do without him.

Poor Cody... was chasing after our naughty puppy (because he got out of
the yard again) and skinned his knee up really bad. He is lying on the
couch now recovering.

Lensbabies has announced their new 3G lens, which is the same lens as the Lensbaby 2, but it has a focus locking mechanism on it that allows you to fine tune your focus. Great for people who want to use tripods for keeping your shots steady with the macro kit.
Sadly they are starting them out at $270.00 which is a lot compared to previous Lensbaby lenses. I'm not sure what brought on the huge price jump. As much as I want one, I'm hesitant to pay that much for a 3G when I already own a Lensbaby 2.0.
