What are your superstitions?
Submitted by lazywong.
I have an odd thing that I don't feel comfortable leaving my nail clippings or any hair where anyone can get it. Don't ask me why. i think my grandma used to tell me someone would put a hex on me if they got them or something LOL.
Silly polynesian superstitions.

Starting off with my list of blackberry goodies for Josh.
- Useful Pearl automater scripts:
- This great scripts will encode videos for blackberry pearl on osx. Very easy to use and works like a charm. I've tried it with several avi and mpg downloads.
- This package contains 2 workflow scripts for resizing images for BB and for copying the images to your device. Is great for making wallpapers & getting images for callerID onto your phone.
- Useful (free) Software:
- Berry411 is an absolute MUST HAVE. It's faster than calling 411 and you can just select the phone number after it looks up and dial directly so you don't have to "remember" it and then type it into your phone. Has also come in handy while I'm out of the house and need to get to a specific place. I can look it up on my phone quickly and then enter the info into the GPS in my car.
Other perks: It's free to use if you have a dataplan with your BB so there are no more charges for calling 411, and it's really fast with the T-Mobile Edge nework! - GoogleTalk can be downloaded for free if you go to the Blackberry site on your phone's browser. It's really handy, especially if you Twitter a lot, it is more "conversational" than getting mobile SMS updates to your phone, and easier to turn off temporarily (just sign out of Gtalk!). Next to the Blackberry Messenger it's the strongest messenger available for the BB (imo). [thanks 2 derek for this tip!]

- Useful Bookmarks (on your BB):
- http://m.flickr.com - Flickr Mobile Site, you can upload photos from your microSD card to your flickr account through the browser!
- http://www.bloglines.com/mobile - Bloglines Mobile Edition, you can read your feeds via the Edge network and keep up to date with things.
Tip: When editing a feed you can choose if you want it to show up in your "mobile" edition so you don't have to read all feeds via your phone, only the ones you want. - http://m.facebook.com - Facebook Mobile
- http://wap.pinstack.com - Pinstack WAP site, post to the forums via your mobile phone.
- Useful Bookmarks (On your PC):
- Upoc - Think "mailing list" only.. via SMS. Basically you send a message to the group, and everyone in the group gets it, & vice versa. It's all via SMS and free if you have an unlimited text messaging plan.
PS. There's even a wiphey.com group ;) - BBHub - Blackberry Blog/News/Rumors

Today is the day! Get out your cameras. The idea is that everyone is going to take a picture of whatever they see, at exactly 5pm GMT today. For those of you who don't want to think too hard about what time that is at your own house, there is a handy-dandy little timezone converter here. Don't forget to post your pics to the flickr group! More info from the BBC Radio 4 site [via Matthew]

- I love my new pearl. Not just because you can use neat things like OperaMini or GMail for Mobile, but because I can use it as a bluetooth modem for my Macbook Pro.
- I'm selling my old phone on ebay if you're interested. It's a Sidekick3. It's a good phone if you like sidekicks, I'm only switching because it doesn't sync with OSX. The auction ends tomorrow, if you let me know got there from my website I'll give ya free shipping Auction Link.
- Do you know who Derek Punslan is? I do!
- 2006's, 4 ways to impress, and 20 more to come.
